which are the latest most popular cue tips?

I'm surprised so many are having glazing issues with Kamui. My favorite tip. I've tried others over the years figuring I'm way overpaying but I never liked any of them enough to put another one on over a Kamui. Having read this thread tho, I will have to try an Ultraskin next. One fix for...

Old Dogs New Tricks aka Cue Ball vs Object Ball - Mosconi Team Members Answers

Jeremy Jones is also a CB last guy. Doesn't claim it's better, just that it is what he's used to. Allison Fisher mentioned she's OB ladt mostly but CB ladt jacked up and off the rail. I like Allisin's apptoach and have adopted that. Being jacked up distorts angles somewhat so OB last...

Thoughts on the best way to remove tension when shooting in league/tournaments?

45 pints is damn near 70 bottles of beer. As a one off hero day, maybe. As an average?... guy wouldnt live long enough for anyone to learn his name.

Pretty sure only the last few seconds were what they really did. Wish they'd move away from the mic then :p

Should your Chin be on the Stick, or what's comfortable for you?

It def matters a ton if head moves on delivery. It just doesn't matter if it does on pre-strokes. Eyes are the guidance system, if they are moving, your straight stroke won't stay straight. Closed eyes, no problem, stays straight. Eyes on wrong spot or moving around effectively making...

Should your Chin be on the Stick, or what's comfortable for you?

Changing one thing in a setup can affect many others. Could be that getting that little bit lower changed something somewhere else. Could also be that you simply see the game better from your familiar vantage point. The second reason is why I struggle getting my head way up off the cue as...

Fargo Caps = The dumbing down of pool

Gotta disagree here since all the cap will even out is the level of the best men and women in the tournament but crush lower ranked ladies' chances of doing well. The higher the fargo limit, the more men will be near that limit than women. So now a 520FR lady looking at 600 and under tourney...

    Straightpoolers,...

You might not call them masters but they certainly have mastered the game.. c'mon man, 200+ run and not a master? Maybe we're just getting spoiled by being able to watch the very best players in the world any time on YT. Mastery of the game comes well before those nosebleed levels imo.

Not gonna lie, had no idea what FNF meant so I googled it.... Seems like there is a finance meaning, a couple slang meanings, and even a special meaning on Grinder. Given the wide range of meanings for this ambiguous acronym, I wouldn't just be throwing out 'yessir's lol. Reading back your...

I stand by my statement. Anyone can learn a functional pool stroke...we not talking Earl level here. Just may take more than their sl6/7 captain's second hand tips to bring it out of them.

Genes may put a cap on athletic peak and def affect how steep one's learning curve is, but the reduced amount of body movement u see as u go up the ranks has much more to do with developed skill and time spent refining technique than inate ability. Yes some people have an intuitive...

Makes sense. A cpl ball in hand self-safes were def head scratchers. Even 507 seems high...but to be fair, conditions were tough and trny nerves have made fools of us all at one point or another.

Damn. I can't believe that guy won a lag. For the racks on the stream he was really struggling with the fast table...like he used to playing on shag carpets level struggling. Over running by miles. Between several shots going so long he ended up ok the other way and the 9 on the break...

Thoughts on the best way to remove tension when shooting in league/tournaments?

Fight or flight mode comes with an intense norepinephrine dump into the bloodstream. It takes no less than 20min to clear that. We just talkin bout run of the mill nervous tension here.
