Those can be a real fun task to get out especially when they are bent... it looks as if they took pin nails and cut them down and had to of used a power nailer to shoot them in because they bent as they were going in or some seem to just barely penetrate the trim and get cobbled up...some...

Once a guy cuts the rail apart it’s highly suggested to replace the rubber with modern cushion rubber with up to date specs... if the cushion rubber cushions on your table are still in good condition there is not much of a reason for you to throw money at it.

Now if we are taking about a black gold crown, it’s a rock solid table that can be made to play very well.

One of these, they are super sneaky.
Once they are screwed together you’d never know it was a two piece cue unless you looked closely or tried to unscrew the 5/16-18 pin.
I have several if anyone is looking to pick one up.

Mr bond had some old-old business cards on the Chicago billiard museum website..
I sure wish that museum site was preserved, mr bond had some really neat billiards history on display of Lindquist, Hjort, Rambow etc..
