    Coco Rounds for Sale

I needed some coco squares....so...I'm selling some coco rounds. Makes sense, right? What happened to the price of coco? The shortest on the far left is 23". The one on the far right is just shy of 26". The diameters range from 1.305 (most common) to 1.32. I just took a very...

    Sneaky Pete question

I think I am going to have to fall on the opposite side of the skeptical fence. The last veneered FS blank I delivered to Dzuricky, I did zero bumping after the initial turning. Bob made the video before he took any additional cuts. Bob said he shimmed the joint center only .008" to dial the...

    Sneaky Pete question

Any cuemaker with a lathe with a large enough spindle bore that is set up for both tapering butts and shafts on the lathe can taper one portion with half the cue in the headstock and hanging out the back, then reverse it and taper the other end and meet in the middle. Sneaky Pete question

The only challenges are logistical. Can someone who makes FS sneaky blanks have a 48" "forearm" hang off their machinery when cutting the grooves. Does the same cuemaker have a lathe with 60" between centers to turn down a full length cue. The 60" between centers for cuemaking pretty much...

MVP Thuya Veneered FS #2, into Ebony green veneers for Clay

The owner liked your direction (at least I think he saw it and it wasn't a coincidence). "The Wizard King" (That makes me think of playing Telengard during junior high school.)

MVP Thuya Veneered FS #2, into Ebony green veneers for Clay

Unfortunately, #2 is the last of the thuya burl I had long enough for a FS butt. I couldn't be happier with how this one came out. :happydance: I have not named this cue. If something comes to mind for anyone, feel free to throw it at the wall. Maybe it will stick. Larger version...

MVP Veneered FS Thuya Burl into Birdseye Maple

Thanks. :) Here is the bumper. https://www.muellers.com/Recessed-Brown-Rubber-Bumper,5632.html It is the standard recessed 1" bumper that is held by a cap screw into a bolt. I grind mine to a smaller diameter, but otherwise it is the same.
