I received this link from PayPal about the IRS today.

I disagree 100% with this. BTW, the new standard deductions are nearly double what they once were, making it impossible for us to itemize the same amount -let alone more. Because of this, pool earnings are 100% profit through the eyes of the tax system we have. My complaint about my money going...

I received this link from PayPal about the IRS today.

I do not remember which 1099 CSI gave us. I am suggesting having the ability to offset one gain individually. If there is a way to do that specifically, someone should share it publicly. The new standard deduction could not be reached no matter how I itemized. I have a similar situation in...

I received this link from PayPal about the IRS today.

The fact that we cannot offset gains PER 1099 shows us how big of a scam it is. A few years ago I won a couple events at the state BCA championships. I had to 1099 something like $2500. There should be a way to deduct table time, cue cost, hotel stay, etc. Nope, just the standard deduction...

    What a tool!!!

I know this makes me sound like a caveman, but exactly this. There is no reason for that guy or anyone like him to exist at all. Big lead, 100+ higher rated, playing a young girl and still wets his pants. The only worse call I've seen recently was when some POS called a foul after a runout...

    Dumbest tournament rule ever???

I watched that match. Payne plays over his Fargo imo. I usually feel I can hang with the 630-670 guys fairly well (and generally do). That young man pots balls well and has a level head on his shoulders. His defensive shots and decisions need work but I could not hang with him regardless. He...

    Rhino CF shaft... Yes/No

After replacing the soft tip that came on it with a Taom break tip, I like their Komet break cue.

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I feel that with the proliferation of CF shafts, the Willard tip machine has never had more value. Most people never need to replace a ferrule and CF shafts do not get sanded, sealed and waxed. I've installed countless tips over the years with the Willard with no issues. The only shafts I've...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I thought their oversimplification of installing a tip was funny. Please put me on ignore.

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I just received this from Rhino. Ever experienced that frustrating moment when a worn-out cue tip impacts your game? It's a challenge both new and seasoned billiards players face, influencing the precision and power behind your shots. Fear not! Rhino Billiards is here with a straightforward...

    Best tip for bk rush?

The cue isn't the problem. Refine your technique on the break. The cue does not make the cue ball run all over table. An off-center hit does that. Back off your break speed until you are getting consistently square hits on the head ball. Slowly put the speed back into the break as your...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

Mine came with a very soft, black layered tip. I replaced it with the Taom break tip and have had no issues.

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

The more I use the Komet break cue and shaft, the more I like it. (Taom break tip)

    AZB Tournaments?

I enjoyed those but as you said, it never got very much traction.

    GPS trackers for cue cases

I heard of a guy who used his GPS to track down his stuff a couple years ago. He went to the thief's house with the cops and got it back. Problem was, the cops needed to hold his gear as evidence if he wanted to press charges. With the backlog, he didn't want to be without his cues for that long...

Tight pockets are NOT good for the game!

I came up in pool halls that had one or two tight tables for the pool players, and a bunch of loose tables for the recreational players. That is how I feel it should be done still today. I remember a guy where I worked getting into pool, joining a league, etc. When it came time to buy his own...

    My Rhino experience

That's what I noticed first when I bought my LIttle Monster. Black marks on the rails where I take my practice strokes. The marks come off with a towel and some brushing but it's still not a good thing. I didn't wipe it down with alcohol to start, not realizing it had this residue from the...

    My Rhino experience

I also own a Little Monster break cue. I prefer it to the Komet mostly due to the sport grip. It too, came very dirty and needed a similar wipe-down.

    My Rhino experience

I received my Komet break cue in January. No extra tip but it came with a weight kit. Weird that it came with a super soft black layered tip that needed to be replaced asap for any break to have some power in it.

    Best and worst commentator??

Alex is great and if JJ would stop sounding like he was asking a question at the end of every sentence, they would be top two for me.

    Best Template Rack To-Go

It's thicker than some magic rack knockoffs but probably about the same as the real one. The Turtle is the worst imo. The advantage of the Accurack, imo, is the texture on the rack itself. I feel it will induce rolling, rather than sliding off the slick plastic of other racks. This may result in...
