For those of You that don't know... The BreakRAK is getting some attention...

Great information and history of the product. I'm glad to hear it was your baby back then as well as today. It is a great product that I purchased from Bert way back when. FYI, if you ever need a prototype of a new product, I can make it. My shop is mostly custom automotive products but we make...

If I remember, I will pull it out tonight. I think it's under my pool table.

I bought mine before that because I had an 8 footer when I bought it and that was before 2000. I think mine has no shock in the middle and balls on all 4 corners. It came with different length poles for table sizes and everything stored in a rifle case.

I purchased something that looks a lot like this well over 20 years ago. I'll have to pull it out and see if there is a name on it. I only asked to see if the breakrak is a knock-off of that product.

    60 inch cue

I'm not a tall guy so when I used to play for money on the big tables I often used a 60. I even have a 60 with a built-in extension. It would always outperform the bridge (in my hands). Reach is the only advantage imo. However, my buddy who is 6'6" uses longer than normal golf clubs which makes...

Calcutta Cease & Desist Order in Washington State

What I was thinking. People are not losing their houses betting on players in these calcuttas. People ARE losing their houses betting on professional sports. I guess since the state is getting a cut it's all good. I can't remember which online site they re using for the Vegas fish tourneys but...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I really wanted to try the Defy when it came out. The sticky finish made it unusable for me so I abandoned the shaft after a couple shots. Do they still put that gel coat-like finish on their shafts?

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

He has too many cues and plays with all of them. One man's opinion. I will say that when I play with a CF shaft, the amount of deflection is affected by the smoothness of the stroke. If I'm quick rather than smoothly accelerating, I get more deflection.

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

Ah, perhaps they were posted on delay. My mistake. Have they pulled all coverage of the MC from Sky? I was able to watch live in recent years.

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

I want the same YT stream for the Mosconi. The only difference is US fans want to watch the MC. Are we the only ones MR wants to squeeze for every penny? Or, will we see the same treatment given to the MC this year? ETA Apologies if this has been covered. I just tuned in two pages ago.

A new measure of tournament toughness: Harmonic Field Strength

Nice approach to the issue. Now my brain hurts. More rum should fix it.

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

My buddy has one and says he can't really tell the difference between the Rhino and the Revo. YMMV

    Perimeter Lighting

I bought one a couple years ago. Mine is not able to be used on a dimmer switch so the only issue I have is that it's very bright compared to other local tables.

Single layer tip in between an Elkmaster and Triangle or Lepro?

I switched to softer tips after going CF. My favorite tips were much too hard after the change.

Single layer tip in between an Elkmaster and Triangle or Lepro?

This. Been using Dawgduds for years and I find them to be just right. I pulled an old custom cue out of storage a couple weeks ago and the tip felt way too hard. I put on one of the tips I played with back when that cue was my main player and did not like it at all. Decided to put one of Jeff's...

Shoot a Million Balls? Give me a break.

Mediocrity is relative. At my best I was maybe a 670 (before Fargo existed). I was still a monster among mice in my area with only a couple bigger fish in the pond. If you are comparing to world-class pool, that is a world away from the norm.

Shoot a Million Balls? Give me a break.

This isn't too far off when you factor in the starting talent. I read Greg Norman shot his very first round of golf as a child at around par. John McEnroe was a born tennis player. He did not need to hit 1M balls to become a world-class player. His brother Patrick had about 1/3 the talent John...

    Diamond Professional Delivery Time

As far as Diamond racks go, I typically prefer the plastic because I've had the balls stick to the wood racks. ymmv My apologies for being part of the hijackers of this thread OP.
