    Next time, don't have the name of the maker in the filename! That's what made it easy. That is an incredible cue though!

    titlist conversion cue

    This is a fullsplice w/veneers, but this is not from a Titlist. It still looks like a nice cue and would be a good player. Does it have the Jackson logo? It would also help if you post the specs such as weights, length, shaft size, joint type, etc....

    I don't quite think it is palm. I have a couple with the same wood and it just seems like a darker rosewood to me. I could be wrong though as I do think it does have pattern similar to palm. I have done a few titlists and a few 26 1/2 cues and am converting a 26 1/2 exactly like that one...

    I've worked on a couple metal lathes with taper bars. One was a harbor freight 12x36 lathe and one is my own that I modified similar to that one, but mine is a Birmingham 13x40. The taper bars and brackets were both made, not bought as taper bars.
