I have had one on for about a month now, maybe more.. I break with my playing cue and it has not mushroomed at all yet. It feel awesome and more than likely will not change to another brand tip.

can you make them without that label, or I should say can get one without it?

I guess it all depends on which bar in which part of the country of which type of redneck you are playing... In general either the cue or a ball has to contact a rail after a legal hit is made.

I have seen this model Lucasi before, that is one hell of a tight fitting joint and super sharp points. Def. one of my favorite Lucasi cues ever made!
