Ryan might have done the wrap but rest of it not his style.

    eBay seller warning

Pin, joint collar and butt look correct. Who knows why it was painted black though. Many cues are cored so not unusual to see the pin set into maple. I can't see anyone trying to fake Bludworths. My guess it was damaged and this was a repair.

    What is "jimbos army" ?

Unless you were a member the real content was hidden. When it got started I hosted it on my server. I knew (and still don't) know anything about being a webmaster and lost it when the server crashed and my back ups were corrupt.

    Chester Krick CK Cues

First custom cue I ever ordered. It was fun working out the design over the phone. This was before I started building and we remained friends until his death.

    In Question of Wood Finish

I have done several oil finished gun stocks it is a LONG process that really does not apply to cues. Reason is the secret to getting the smooth high gloss finish is wet sanding while the oil is wet to create a slurry of oil and saw dust that fills the grain. It takes several of these wet...

    Two Gina Quality Ferrules

I know a guy. I think he might have installed ferrules on your Gina shafts before. He even has the tooling so the proprietary threads on the shaft don't have to be altered (unless the previous mechanic already did)

Dieckman THE PATH I TOOK TO BECOME A CUE BUILDER

I was more like 20 when we first met but I did buy my first custom cue from him. It was partially finished when he came through Leesburg and we worked out the details and he finished it up when he got back to his shop. I turn 50 this year so I guess I knew Dennis for close to 30 years even...

    Brite-Tone: new waterborne finish

Many moons ago when I was first starting a well meaning cue maker gave me some advice and told me it would make sealing the cue quick and easy. Since he had been around a while and I was new I just took it for face value and tried it. Sure enough I had the cue sealed and perfectly flat in a...

That makes me so happy that you still have the Cue. What year did I build that one? Had to be 01 or 02. All my records are in storage with my machines.

    Narrowed Tenons

I put them back just like Bob built them. If someone brings me a repair I do my best to make it as close as possible to the way it was originally built no matter if is a Meucci or Gina or whatever. If I need to make construction changes it is explained in advance.
