    Best Money Player Alive Today

All the lint picking detractors aside this would be a great match up, no matter how long it took. Todd

    What do you do when.....

We agreed to "off the cuff" rules rather informally and proceeded. When the break shot question arose, after spirited debate, we flipped for the 500 and agreed to a new set with the provision that should the same situation come up the breaker loses his shot and his opponent may now break...

    John Davis cues???

Perfect, thank you. I have not been able to contact John yet and all of his shafts that I have seen had the 1/2" ivory collars. If I had previously seen different joint configurations this fishing expedition would have been unnecessary. Thanks again. Todd

    What do you do when.....

I am not a league player so I am not well versed in the finer points of regulated play and although when I matched up last night we came to terms on play this is something I have never experienced before. The set is barbox 8ball, ball in hand after break, no three foul rule in effect. My...

    John Davis cues???

I prefer ivory joints but I was unclear in my question. I have never seen large ivory collars on shafts like Mr. Davis uses and am having a hard time visualizing what the cue will look like jointed. Also, knowing that ivory can be brittle I have to wonder about the strength of the collars on...

    John Davis cues???

I have emailed John using an address that I found on Tates website, however it has only been a week so my impatience has gotten the better of me. I appreciate the help and will wait to see if I get a response. Todd

    John Davis cues???

I am interested in John Davis cues, and although I know that his fullsplice blanks are among the best I have not been able to find much about his recent return to cuemaking using the search function. I am most concerned with the rather large ivory collars that he uses on his shafts. Any...

My Eddie Wheat cue in progress

Possibly Eddie yearns for an additional inch or two on his own "stick" and subconsciously overcompensates elsewhere.

Lets here everybodys top 20 american players of 9-ball and 10-ball RIGHT NOW!

I have seen him play when he was in dead stroke and it is truly special, however, I believe he is off his game right now. Friends watched him play this weekend at Jamaica Joes in OKC where he placed 7/8 and a year or two ago this wouldn't have been possible. Hope he gets back to doing what he...

    Impossible shot?

The cue that Bob is playing with has no more than 1/8" ferrule if that. It might very well be leather on wood, you can see this in the follow thru. The deflection police will have to splain the rest. Todd

    Like your opion?????????

They might sell better if you displayed the names Szamboti or Mottey on them. Todd

Corey Deuel What's in the Case

Rodney Morris at one time played with a Barry Szamboti and Shannon Daulton, I believe, had an expensive 1/1 Schon or maybe Josey. I'm sure there are plenty of others but unless you see them play in person it is often difficult to discern on video what each cue is.

Four hours too much the first time

My local room has two 6x12 snooker tables and every weekday afternoon from 1 to 4 there is a standing partners snooker game for .50$ the first game, 1$ for every game there after until the last game where they bump the bet to 2$. All the guys that play are retired with the oldest being 94. Many...
