Matching Predator Shaft with ringwork to Southwest

He is a great person to work with and he matched a 314-2 shaft to a South West cue I used to own and it came out great. I'd highly recommend him. James

    Mottey---White

I think I would have hated to part with that cue and case, but there are a number of cues I've owned that I sold and later was sorry I sold them. James

CJ Wiley "great to do business with"

You're welcome Mike. I had to post this thread after reading some of the others about CJ. I want people to know the kind of business man he is and how he treated me. James

CJ Wiley "great to do business with"

I’ve been reading a number of threads about CJ Wiley, some good and some negative. I saw CJ the first time in Columbia, SC at the RackmUp 9 ball Classic back in the 90's. I’d never heard of him and a friend of mine and I were watching him warm up and he was running balls like I’d never seen...

Shotty tip work (rant and questions)

For $50 it is the worst I've ever seen. If you lived close to me I'd help you out since I have my own lathe. I had 2 difference people screw up tip jobs on my cues close to 20 years ago and I vowed it wouldn't happen again. I bought a Hightower lathe and learned how to use it. I do my own tips...

    DIY Ball Cleaning Machine?

I like the idea except for using scotch-brite non scratching scour pads. They must be more abrasive to the balls than carpet. I don't know this for sure, but I would hate to be removing plastic from the expensive ball set and not realize it until it was too late. Can someone give a little more...

    Open challenge $500per game

I don't think some forum members know how good CJ is. I agree with you Dean when he was playing regularly he was one of the best I've ever seen also. James

Kamui chalk, Im considering it, OPINIONS/Experience, ALTERNATIVES, Thanks!

I'm a sucker for any new pool items that I think might help me in my quest to be a better player. I held back on trying the Kamui chalk at first because I couldn't see how it could be worth paying that much for one piece of chalk. I later had to try it and I like it. I'm not a cheap person...

So many tips, so hard to decide on which one to try!

I have a cue lathe and I bought it so I could take care of my cues myself. Having my own lathe lets me try different tips and it's help me find the best feeling tip for me. I've tried a lot of different tips after they quit making Moori Slow tips trying to find the closest tip to the original...

Do you need others to respect your cue???

I bought my cues because I like them and they are what I want to play with when I get a chance to play. I won't say I don't care what other people think of my cues, but nobody even notices what you are playing with around here. I have a couple of fancy cues and a couple of cues that just blend...

Amazing shot by Jeremy Seaman during gambling match

I'm sure his opponent had his cue ready to go to the table before he pulled off that miraculous shot. That's one of the best shots I've seen in a long time! James

Guess why I don't post pics and win

No Pics You have such a good reputation and you are one of the best salesmen on AZ. I don't know of another member who can sell cues as easily as you can without pictures. I still think you should get an inexpensive camera and get someone to show you how easy it is to take and post pictures...

Big Mottey, small Mottey, I love any cue made by Paul Mottey

PM Cues I've been a Mottey cue fan for many years and I was sad when I heard he retired. I like your 8 point cue a lot and hearing that it was Paul's personal cue even adds to the history of that nice cue. I have a Mottey cue also and it's one of my favorite cues out of the many cues I've owned...
