There is always a 314-3 or a Jacoby Hybrid shaft available in that joint. You could get any other 5/16-14 shaft. It just wouldn't have that tight final turns. I'm currently loving the Mezz Ex Pro which fits fine on a Schon. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

This break cue was my first. I had similar feelings to you. I had a White Diamond tip put on it. I later bought a Predator BK3 and I'm actually preferring the J&J again. I've been debating about replacing the tip on the BK3 to try to regain the love.

You are correct but it was well packed with bubble wrap which is why the shaft came out fine. It was much better packed than the CDX shaft that came in that box originally but that is a story for another thread. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
