I have a cue with an oil rubbed finish and it is too slick for my taste. Would there be any issues with spraying on a high gloss finish? I was told this could be a problem. Thanks!

Sounds very entertaining! Just like Earl and his finger extensions. I laughed out loud when I saw that.

I like the Everest tip but it feels spongy for the first 2 or 3 weeks. Once it breaks in it feels much better. If you do some searching, you will find other posters that say the same thing. So if you have a new shaft, give its some time and it will feel less and less spongy.

Jim Pierce cues are fantastic players at a reasonable price.

I was reading the thread regarding cue extensions and got to thinking that most people don't want their players modified because it could change the feedback, balance point etc... At least that has been my reasoning in the past. However, you could have an extension installed on your break cue...

My suggestion for the June "win a free OB cue contest" was to make an internal extension an option on all new OB cues. And allow people to send an older cue in for modification. I think you would be surprised how many people would be interested.

Thanks for the input. What makes the PB Pro better than the others? IYO. Solid, feedback, control, power etc... I have never played with a Mezz.

I am considering the short Mezz Pro Break 2 cue and I see a few different break shafts. Not sure if they are all options on the PB2, but if so, I would like to know the differences so I can make a wise selection. The information on the website describes the component differences but that doesn't...
