I'm probably going this way. Grady Mathews also explains this system in one of his kicking tapes. And I also subscribe to the idea of, "If it's tough either way, give yourself a chance to win the game".

Not a bad idea, Shane. I found a shaft that I really like, and of course it has a 5/16-18 thread. I'm using a Players Sneaky butt now, but if I don't hit a shot just right, I don't like the funny vibration that I get.

I know Meucci, Players, Heubler, and several other cues have a 5/16-18 joint thread. In your opinion, what is the best quality cue with the above thread? Thanks, Mike

I have a McDermott cue and case set I'd like to flip rather quickly. The Case is is very good shape. It's the brown box case (1x2) with green felt lining. The cue is in very used condition. The butt is straight as an arrow and hits great. The shaft has a noticeable warp, but I used an LD...
