It is a crap shoot with picking tips. But for my revo 12.4 these are things I personally considered: I wanted a medium tip. Predator victory soft is too grabby, so medium seemed about right for a stiff shaft (don't want to go too hard) like the revo. I like the tips to be 8 layers as to me...

Just got off the phone with PoolDawg as I was asking them about this very issue. Per their Predator rep, the weight variances are due to the foam they use for each shaft (as I got this part is not mechanically controlled).

What common weight are people finding for 12.4 revo shafts? Just curious...

The Hustler was a classic. TCOM was a good film. I do think, though, that the Hustler would have been even better with some editing. The love story was key to the film, but the part after Eddie gets his thumbs broken and his hanging out with Sarah at her apartment could have been edited down.

I kind of ruled the Becue out because I think they use their own proprietary joint with their cue (even though, they do sell their shafts independently with common joints). If they used a common joint, I might be interested as I would like the option of putting other cf shafts on it.

A lot of talk and interest for carbon fiber shafts. What do people think about carbon fiber cues? Functional advantages or disadvantages? Or none really...just perhaps not as sharp looking as wood cue?

I'm lost? Thought this was a discussion about jump cues. Somehow there is a profound deep issue where things like 'having principals' is involved...huh?

What someone thinks the rules to something should be and how they approach something given the current rules are two exclusive ideas. One is completely independent of the other. Not sure why this is confusing to people.
