You should be able to get a McDermott cue for about $80 with a big 3/8x10 pin. What joint does your current cue have? OB shafts can be made to fit anything, including cuetec. I would just order the one corresponding to your cue.

Have to disagree, they still aren't low deflection shafts, just performance shafts. The tests the shafts are subjected to is biased to weight and stiffness of the shafts. The tiger shaft is designed differently than the pred/OB shafts and will never produce the results those do on that test...

What is the point of owning a cue if you are never going to play with it? As for investing in it, lets face it 95% of cues degrade in value, only the master makers' cues seem to appreciate. You already paid for the damn thing, enjoy it!

Man, I had a chance at a real sweet one last year. I regret not picking it up, ebony with maple points, green veneers. It was the cue he sent in since he sponsors the Joss NE tour, cue played great. GLWS, hard to find a better guy than Joe to deal with.

I used to be a huge fan of sumos, but the last couple I have had were dry and horrible. They ended up cracking off. Anyone know if this has changed? Older sumos were all I ever used.
