Looks like a lucasi, Black Irish linen wrap. Wonder if someone put some black shoe polish or dye on the wrap to darken it. No other idea how that could happen.

Just go over it with some progressively finer sandpapers- 1000-2500 grit - and it will remove the glossiness and be smooth as silk

the tip Poison makes jump cues and jump/break cues. They perform well. The shafts on these are the same as their playing shaft, just with a phenolic tip. Poison's shafts are all solid maple with the front end cored with a lighter wood. That being said, most any shaft with a phenolic tip...

The QKS artillery is a great case. High quality vinyl exterior. Not too heavy. Nice roomy interior with fabric dividers. Shafts and butts can be stored up or down. Lid does not come off completely.
