How Much Cash Do You Carry?

I originally thought so as well and that still may be correct but I recently purchased a motorcycle at a dealer and paid $12k cash. I had to fill out the same/similar forms that I do at the bank saying where I got it and such. A couple days later I got a copy from the IRS just the same as well...

    Best Weight for j/b cue?

Lighter can be better. There is a big argument going on about this but if you think about it further than just the ability of the speed of the cue there is some simple logic. If you have nothing in your hand and swing your arm as fast as you can in a breaking motion; that is as fast as a cue...

How Much Cash Do You Carry?

If I go somewhere specifically to gamble I take $1,500 for each night I plan on being out unless stakes are already discussed. And if I remember correctly you can carry more that $10,000 even in the US. But if you spend $10k or more in one spot the accepting party has to report it to the IRS.

Thanks for all the replys. I'm going to buy a couple different ones and try them out. I'll let everybody know what I think.

A pro organization should represent how many?

If they meet the qualifications of the tour then let them join. If you want more players make the qualifications easier. If you want less make them more extensive.

    playing with a 30" shaft

I play with a 30" and won't change back. I honestly don't notice a difference in playability or weight. I just prefer the extra inch of reach and follow through without having to grip past my wrap.

    Full length jump cue

What have you found works best for a full length jump cue? Any particular setup, weight, brand, joint, more deflection, less deflection, etc? Has anyone ever jumped with a predator BK for example? I'm considering buying a full lenth jump cue because locally I can use it in leagues even though I...

If money was not object I would enter the US Open as a...

Entry fee is $600. I am fortunate enough to live in Florida and there are alot of top pros around. I enter all the tournaments I can and get to play the big boys. I am going to set aside time next year to play in the open for the experience. I was wanting to take a couple of friends with me to...

Meucci going back to old shafts?

It is the best thing they can do. I haven't hit with a Meucci that feels as good as they did in the mid 90s and earlier.

If money was not object I would enter the US Open as a...

I know alot of people who have the means and desire to play and are very strong players. But, they also know that they wouldn't have a realistic chance of winning. So my question is this how good would you have to be to enter yourself into the US Open if money were no object.

Ghost WITHOUT BIH... work up drill

It would be difficult to guess at this because alot of what makes an A player an A player is the ability to play safe and keep control of the game. When you are playing the ghost safe play doesn't exist.

    break question

It is hard to tell without seeing you break but most people I know with this problem jack the back of their cue up at initial contact and drive the tip into the cloth. Every stroke is different but on a break shot with the force this acts much like a jump shot. So when the cue hits the rack it...
