    APA 8 ball league fees

Not APA, but in the Netherlands it costs me about $25 a year, and as part of a team that plays out of my pool hall, their "sponsorship" is that I play for free anytime all year round... Decent deal ;)

Most you would spend on a shaft?

I paid about $450 for a ferruleless BB shaft. Not all that impressed TBH. And to think he charges $800 for these lol!! I would happily pay $500 per shaft and JP to get some more to match up with my Mobley playing cue.

    Tim Scruggs Cue For Sale

I am pretty damn sure I used to own this cue, and i was not the original owner. And unless you are selling it for Dan Stevens, then it has had more in between!! You maybe want to double check with your buddy. This was mine and I traded it away 3 or 4 years ago.

Ever sold a Cue and begged to get it back? Post them up. I am the champ of the world!

Just two. I had a mint 1994 Southwest cocobolo into cocobolo. I really wish I had hung onto that! The other did a little tour of Europe to two friends of mine, but then i got it back last year... Haven't learned my lesson though, been considering selling this one again??!?!?!

Can it be the new sports drink Cheqio?

It is pretty big in Europe, which is understandable since they are a Dutch company. Nick van den Berg swears by the stuff. They have also signed up some top darts players, and professional gamers. I have tried it, but heck I dunno if it made any difference, as I was drinking beer as well hahah

Road theme song when leaving your home room.

Golden Earring are the only rock band from the Netherlands, the locals even make jokes about the fact!

    Mike Dechaine southwest-like cue

From his FB page... "I decided to part ways. They're a great company but I needed a little soul searching when it came down to my cues." Still a bit cheeky to wear their free sponsored gear ;)

Break Tip shootout! Taom, Hammerhead, Zento, and more.

Very interesting review. I have only tried the stock BK3 tip and the Taom. I like the stock tip a lot TBH. My Taom v1 sheered in half, and the v2 which was a lot better, I removed because it was wearing away at the sides due to friction on the table! I am currently trying some more options, but...

Tell me more about this Black Boar

I have emailed Tony, my feeling is that he did the work, look how sharp the inlays are.

Tell me more about this Black Boar

OK, that's interesting, thank you. I will drop some pics to Tony to get the low down, I am assuming he did the work afterwards looking at the inlays.

Tell me more about this Black Boar

You mean the inlays in the butt or forearm? The rings are very similar to a 6 pointer I had. The rounded ends of the ebony points don't look great to me though I must admit.

Tell me more about this Black Boar

Hi All, I am trying to help a friend sell this cue. I am a little unsure of what to ask though. Can anyone give me some advice? Cue could use a refinish, see the blemishes in the finish, also only comes with one 12mm shaft.

Higher end Production Cues have No Value

If I was buying a production cue for myself, say because I wanted to play predator, I would buy the model I wanted in the colour I wanted with zero inlays. Absolute waste of money to get a "fancy" production cue. The more you pay for a new production cue, the more you lose when you take it out...

    Zan Hybrid Max

Zan premium soft is my favourite tip, stumbled across it when a cue I purchased had one installed on one of the shafts, have not looked back since. Love them!!

    Monster Kenny Murrell just in

Glad you like it Alex, as I said if there had been an easy way to get it safely back to Europe from Kenny, I would probably have kept it. I still have the Mobley it was "lightly based on" though, so not going to get too upset ;)
