the fastest $200 i ever lost in my life (well besides flipping quarters), was to Keith at CJ's billiard palace back in the 90's. playing the ghost, race to 9, he beat the ghost in 17 mins 9-2, unreal. and that was on the tight black crowns.

Agreed, it looks like a schon to me. Also , I have broken the butt cap on my schon twice now , after the second time my cue guy had to make me a butt cap and engraved schon on it himself. I can tell it looks a little different but no biggie , IMO.
^^^ same with me. I've been asked not to do it by a pro that I respect a couple of times in different tournaments. Now I just try not to do it at all and if I can't control the urge (lol), I usually just tap the chalk on the rail.
