    If I x-ray a Balabushka.

The only thing I will say... Verl Horn's Horny Bushkas did not fool those that knew. But there were no internet experts to warn the buyers.. LOL.. There is an old saying... "the easiest to fool, are the greediest"... JV

I could. But as I see in this thread already a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. JV

Old Adam cue - was there an M series?

Usually a round sticker has the model number like A/H-25, or it could have the weight. I also thought I read that the factory that made them began with an "M". Maybe it is one of theirs outside of the Adam catalog. Fred Agnir might be able to add to this.

Maybe this is the break that pool needs. Cornhole cheating...

If you do not know what happened in this major tournament, then it's irrelevant. It involved many of the pro's to pull it off. Read that last line again. From rigged calcutta's, players making "deals", you must live in a bubble. It's all a form of cheating. My uncle and I enter a tournament in...

Input on my Porper Cue, please ~

Joe never got much respect for his cues. IMHO that is a 400-800 dollar cue if you can find the right buyer. I have one of the most expensive Porper cues made, and have had 2 others. The other 2 were sub $ 1000 dollar cues. Joe

    Not sold

The truth... you are hitting two things.. a generational change in the billiard mindset and equipment technology changing. The generational change is basically there are fewer collectors that are "true" collectors. They max out at 5-10 cues, OR just collect certain cues, from certain maker(s). I...

    30 Years.... 3 builders...

You want special... real special... Here is a cue that took 30 years to make. Started with the late Burton Spain, Barry Szamboti put an A joint and handle on... Burton then put on the backend. Then darkness fell... it sat for 30 years... then sent to the Tascarella shop for finishing. The butt...

Palmer custom shop... the day they built a Balabushka

In my over 30 years of cues, I have never seen an intentional Palmer built to look like a Balabushka. Well I would have said one was possible, sure, why not. But to see one and get one... now.. that is a different hog altogether. I do think based on the history learned about Palmer, a bunch of...

    ................................

Thanks hope you're well as well... I am going to say something that is probably going to go over like a Lead Balloon. You have two nice titlists, make sure you send them to an A-lister not an up an comer. If you want to send a true-balance to someone that is relatively unknown, more power to...

A Bushka ring acts as a buzz ring when they are assembled. So it is in essence a visible buzz ring. As said earlier, they end up in titlist conversions and for various reasons, none of them good, IMHO. Joe
