    Is billiards the toughest sport?

I totally agree, but I hear they play pool under these very conditions in the Phillipines. I am sure that is why those Phillipino's are so dang tough! Unlevel table, Humidity (high or low), Nappy Cloth, hecklers (ask Earl) poor lighting, Dirty Balls, Chalk pebble on the table, table...

    Is billiards the toughest sport?

I agree with the hole in one statement. I know my comment was way out there, but we go there sometimes. I sure wish I could say I never dreamed about doing just that that night before my 7:30am Tee Time though!! LMAO :D Let's say a guy Birdies 16 holes, Aces a Par 3 and Double Eagles a Par 5...

    Is billiards the toughest sport?

Perfect Score Perfect score in Golf= PAR. This is what the course says is perfection. This is the score that meets the miniumum requirements to determine a good round. It was determined by the course designers in accordance with Length, number of holes, Slope etc. Yet, we see many great...

    Is billiards the toughest sport?

Say it aint so! This just aint so. Obviously I played way too much Golf in my younger days. Seen some crazy stuff on the Golf course. Playing partner hooks his shot from 167 yards out...hits Tree, Cart Path, Flag (Wrapped the ball up breifly) and dropped strait down into the hole for...

    Is billiards the toughest sport?

Golf?? Baseball?? Any sport that requires an exceptional eye hand coordination is going to be very tough. However, I disagree a little that golf is a tougher sport than Pool. I played Golf for years. Not to brag, but to explain my position...I was a 3 handicap and I am talking on tough, tough...

    How to Convince Your Spouse....

Forgiveness It's always Easier to get forgiveness than permission. But, don't lie to her about it. Lying is about the only act that doesn't fall under the forgiveness umbrella.

Do you want to play better pool?

Personal Testament Why is everyone doubting Drew?? He's an honest forthright guy. First, let me say that I am not biased. But I use these pills every day and they work great. As an experiment, I decided to take 3 of these pills at one time last week, just to see what would happen. The first...

    ILOVEPOOL - Negative, negative, negative

Not judging either of you here, BUT... Every shaft I have ever seen warp, was straight when I got it. Case in point...Got a cue about two weeks ago. When it arrived, the very first thing I did was put it together and roll it. I do this with every new or used cue I buy. The cue rolled perfect...

Question about the new Gulyassy J/B

Not sure about a bolt on type fit. A lot depends on how old the cue is and thread size etc. I would think Mike can fit any shaft you want on any cue you send him though. I also think he offers black or brown ferrule tips. Please contact Mike to confirm all this, or go to his web site...

Breathing: While down on the shot.

I take a deep breath just as I stroke the cue ball. Makes it easier for me to yell all the cuss words that come to mind when I miss!!! Seriously, this is good stuff. I hunted for years and one of the first things I was taught when shooting was to slow the breathing pattern and exhale...

    Overcoming a Slump!

We all slump from time to time. Some of us more than others and some of us much worse than others. A slump can be like quicksand. The more you fight and adjust, the deeper into the slump you go. Before you know it, you have tried everything under the sun, changed everything under the sun and...
