You would have many benefits switching to the Olhausen. The quality of the finish is much better, slate quality, frame quality, pocket geometry, its going to play much better overall and resell value.

What kind of cloth did you use? Is the cloth pulled tight, does it wrinkle when you push it?

why did you change the cushions? The rail profile was designed for accufast cushions.

If you bought a quality cloth it probably tougher than you think. I would be worrying more about spills than tears.

Another problem that it could be is the inner shield is too tight and it acts like a spring when the balls hit. You may want to try to soften the leather on the inner shield or make sure the pocket net isn't pulled to tight. You'll problem need to replace those pockets or re-drill the hole.

Sal Butera had received a table without center deflectors not in place. I forget if it was spitting out balls like this table, but it was doing something similar. Anyways, funny video.

I think most people start off as helpers. Hire a billiard mechanic and be his helper for a few years.

This is a common spot for balls to get hung up. Usually its from dirt or debris. Your unit looks pretty clean though. As a preventive measure, I will take a shop vacuum and with the attachment on the blower side I stick in all the pockets, I use the small hose attachment (I think its 1.5"). I do...
