    VERY IMPORTANT POLL-Everyone please vote.

Just my .02....I don't think the general public is turned off by the word "hustler" I for one would be drawn to that aspect. In fact, I don't know why alot of people here think that people are turned off by pools seedy reputation. I think that is what makes pool so cool. (and it is a beautiful...

    Pool Tables For Sale

From what I've seen, most true antique tables are not crappy, meaning that they are well made, but....when buying those you need to look at how well they've held up over the years. I have seen tons of GC's for sale at decent prices and it sounds like you'd like one of those or a Diamond, so why...

Why do bangers think they deserve a shot at the table?

Bangers just have a different mindset and you have to remember that when you play them. These are the guys who gauge how well a game of 8-ball is going by who has more balls on the table at the moment.

    What's wrong with you?

I think there is something to the "shorty" aspect. I've got a friend who is short, and he uses a bridge proficiently. I'm 6'2" and don't use one that often. I know the proper use, and the correct way to stroke with one, but I am still less than confident with one. I also believe Corey would be...

how to get a scratch out of a shaft

"have a few beers to open your mind" I love it Neil!!! I don't think that there is any way of getting an actual scratch out. By that I mean a scratch where the wood is actually torn and damaged. If it is just a "scratch" caused by something pressing into the wood, then maybe. Otherwise, I...

    Who Likes Big Butts?

They do hit good. Real good. I'm having some conversions made, and I've never seen a bad hitting conversion neither.

Oh yeah, you could go a little more hardcore and do a 9-ball skull with pool cue crossbones.:shocked2:

    tattoo

You could incorporate some other things you like about pool, like maybe your favorite brand of pool table or cue. Use a little imagination. I am contemplating some more tattoo work in the future and am considering working in a veneered point from a titlist or maybe the sticker from the butt of...

    Ever had a Tearjerking Loss?

Losing always sucks, but it's twice as bad if you lose because you played like a twit. If I give up a good fight and play well, I think o.k....I'll get him next time. If I lose in embarrassing fashion, I'm like, o.k....someone needs to hit me in the head with a hammer and take my cue away!!!:smash:

    Who Likes Big Butts?

I haven't played with my W.H. Pro, but I've played with one of my one piece titlists with the big butt. I wasn't crazy about it. Even though it hit well, it was so rear weighted and I just didn't like the balance. They do have a Cadillac ride to em' though.

Should i or should i not play with my palmer?

If the cue feels good when you play with it and brings out your best game, then by all means play with it!!! Especially since you intend to keep it forever. Take care of it, and it should never warp on you. I would play with any cue I own, but I tend to find a player, and stick with it for the...
