Some other posts have got me thinking. People say Filler beats Shane because it is a race to 5 alternate break. Make it winner break and Filler can't win. Do you think USA would do better if Mosconi was winner breaks instead of alternate? Singles matches today have been very lopsided so far.

My bad. Didn't realize you meant in person. I haven't either. Closest I have seen in person was Bergman break and run 8 from the flip in a race to 9. He broke dry the ninth game. I would rather see matches played alternate break personally. Close matches are more exciting than blowouts to me.

Calderon is such a monster on the barbox. Pretty gross he makes 3 balls on the break and is almost frozen to the two ball. The lion came with a great shot after Calderon's safety attempt.

Something interesting about the latest Shane vs Shaw race to 100. Shane wins 100-91. Shane TPA .888 340 balls pocketed and 43 errors. Shaw TPA .918 458 balls pocketed and 41 errors. Pretty crazy to have a TPA which is 30 points higher than your opponent and lose a race to 100.
