Justin Bergman said he'll play anyone for $10K min.

Does anybody want to play winner breaks one pocket?

    New FargoRate App

Phone not compatible. I am over it. Too bad they are taking down fairmatch. I guess this is their way of monetizing it.

I got the call! Southwest Cues!

I would order a merry widow in wood which is not commonly seen in Southwest Cues. Some type of darker wood with rings.

Watching mr. 400 trying to break the record

I watched it again and he even moved the 15 ball when spotting the second ball. I am a fan of his and 464 sounds great. Just wondering what straight pool rules say for that.

Watching mr. 400 trying to break the record

Never said there is anything wrong with spotting balls. Just the way he spotted. Was careless. He didn't freeze the second ball or even make sure it was in line with the one he put on head spot from my perspective. he had to break them up anyway but just curious on how that would be viewed...

Watching mr. 400 trying to break the record

I went back and rewatched. He haphazardly spotted both balls. I do not know how that would affect the run.

    "How-many" pack have you run?

3 pack in 8 ball, 9 ball and 10 ball. Basically every package ends in dry break or no shot to start with. I have had a couple break and runs in one pocket. Playing just for fun so keep shooting if ball is made on break.

Historic Cues. Do you have any?

I have one of the first cues made by Richard Black. A friend who passed away sold Richard insurance prior to Richard building cues. Richard was a stockbroker and sold my friend stock. Richard bought forearms from Gus Szamboti. My friend selected a rosewood/rosewood forearm for his cue. It...

    Salute to pro level players

I have posted about true pro golfers in the past. I knew one who was a +8 several years before he got his PGA tour card. Most scratch golfers just don't realize how much better PGA tour players are. In pool it comes down to how many fewer times the pros get out of line or miss balls. They...

    Most Often Reasons We Miss?

This is kind of like chicken or egg. Do we miss because we jump up or do we jump up because we know we missed?

    Most Often Reasons We Miss?

Most often it is focusing on either future or past instead of the present. The only thing that should be on your mind is executing the shot in front of you. Easier said than done sometimes.

    Most Often Reasons We Miss?

Lack of confidence. Something feels wrong and shoot anyway.

    Coss eye dominance

Players should start out with whichever feels most comfortable. There is at least one top pro who is left handed but plays right handed. I know two strong shortstops who are right handed but play left handed. Each one has said pool felt more comfortable playing that way. Where it gets murky...

    Buddy Hall's bridge-hand revelation

I remember the dream had to do with his bridge hand being more solid. I don't think there was an exact description of what he changed. If I recall, he said he didn't miss a ball for several months after changing it.

What's Going On With Custom Cue Prices?

The simple answer. Person pays certain amount. They want to sell. Either they need money or they don't. If they do, then they lower price and take loss. If they don't, then they are waiting for the right buyer willing to pay the price. The big problem is most of the people buying cues are...

What's Going On With Custom Cue Prices?

Rodney Morris played with a Szamboti for a long time. Most of the Taiwanese players play with either Southwest or TAD. Back in the day most pros played with Balabushka or Gus. Now those cues are in private collections. They were nowhere near as expensive then as they are now. The reality is...

Spin the crap out of balls in 3 cushion and they don't do anything like that.
