In gambling, if I can beat somebody on a blue label table, I can still beat them on a red. I would play on either of them, not a big difference.
It would be a bigger deal going from new cloth to old. But the better player should still win.
I have to agree with you, my TV showed the old colors just fine.
As for the colors on those CYCLOPS things...grrr. The 1st tournament I played in I'm glad I showed up early to hit some balls. I had to look at the 6 and 7 to be sure which one I was shooting next. I'm pretty sure they were given...
If you want to follow, you hit the cue ball above center. There is no secret to it. Force follow is merely hitting it with more speed to get more follow.
Trying to aim low and hit high sounds like somebody is messing with you....
For what it's worth, you have gotten responses from some good...
Pros play on the 9ft tables primarily because it requires much more skill. There are some Pro tournies on barbox tables but they make it look like an arcade game, mostly break n runs.
Most big cities have pool halls with 9ft tables in them. There are usually tournaments each month or even...
So, Tony Robles says he will take a good hard look at it and either endorse or walk?
If it's that great, why hasn't he endorsed it already?
My Momma said if it sounds too good to be true.....just sayin...
Robin is a nice lady. I had a good conversation with her a couple years back at the BCAPL Nationals in Vegas. She had a booth set up for selling some equipment.
Nice write up... It appears that you put more value on the "feel" or hit of the cue then I would. I test hit a Cynergy while I was up in Vegas last August. Let me take a step back and say that I've been playing with a Schon which has a 1st generation Predator shaft. So, I've had this cue for...
Alrighty, me and my sheep mentality, lol
I didn't mention the fact about Mosconi's run being on an 8' because I'm sure you are aware. Anyhoo, there are 3 different size 8' tables. I owned an 8' for many years before I finally bought a 9' Diamond Pro. I realize I'm not in your league when it...
Danny,
I know you and John have a history, but putting that aside for now. It is interesting to me that he attempted to break the record at BullShooters in the Phoenix area and all attempts were on a live feed. I'm not sure why the attempts in Monterey Ca. we not live as well. This would have...
ROFL, I was thinking the same thing.
I grew up in Redford which borders Livonia to the east.
I've been to the place currently called the Rack, I believe it's on Joy Rd.
It was back in 89, may have been called something different then, not sure.
I highlighted a key point. I like the way you stop when boredom starts kicking in. Plus, you recognize that you are getting sloppy, many don't catch this....
I feel you are on the way to improving, keep it up.
Two hours a day is really a ton if you practice alone.
Well, I got a quick chuckle because it is CTE comparable...
Some of these other guys must have got their sense of humor from a train wreck. Waaaaay too serious...
We all know it's a serious situation in the NFL but geez....lighten up guys.
So, just as a casual observer.... It seems that Chip comes out of the gates very good and has a few beers according to the updates. Later, after a few(possibly too many) more beers he seems to taper off and Tony pulls away. That has been the theme in the first 2 days.
Will Chip make an...
