    Best way to hang shafts?

It's hard when getting started in your new found hobby. This is why you need more than one or two projects happening at the same time. Buy wood! When your glue is drying, you are preparing for the next 2 projects and the next 2 and the next 2. Glue it and forget about it while you're prepping...

    Best way to hang shafts?

That's part of the game. When you get the woods you have turned down around half way to finish size, buy some more and get them in rotation. If you want to build cues, you can never have too much wood. It's just impossible ;) Even if you have limited space to deal with you'll be thinking out...

    Best way to hang shafts?

Double stacked milk cartons (found most of mine at garage sales) with the right sized holes work nice. I put a solid bottom on them. They hold quite a few shafts. Easy to move around when you need to cut shafts or do some joint/ferrule work. And you don't have to mess around hooks, clamps or...

    18 shafts..........

I'll call these B... B+ grade....may have some sugar marks, a birds eye, low ring count and/or some other small aesthetic thing going on. Some of this MAY still cut out when @ finish size. Overall, they have a good tone, straight grained and would make a good break shaft and/or sneaky style cue...

    Best epoxy for assembly

My disclaimer is I only use 99% melamine type material. 20+ yrs and no problems I can speak of. Strong enough to hold all my tips on also! ;)

    Best epoxy for assembly

You need to get some thicker skin if you're going to hang out around here! 🤓 It's been mild for the last couple years. 😉 Just add some TB red or blue and you're good to go. The only thing the glue is doing is keeping it from ever unthreading. The holding power is in the mechanical bond.

    Epoxy Recommendations

Or just buy in smaller containers. I date epoxy when it comes in. Anything longer than 12-14 months in the shop and it goes in the trash. Why you ask? Build a cue with some old epoxy and find out. Fresh epoxy is the best.
