I made a mistake, and I'm owning up to it.

I'm also shocked and it's a very pleasant surprise. I'll be in touch.

Who is the most underrated cue maker on your opinion?

Plus one for Cory Barnhart. His merry widows should cost about 50 percent more than they do. And I have a 4-pointer that blends old school with modern as well as anything I've seen.

    Your Favorite Wrapless Player

The first cue I owned was wrapless: a one-piece Dufferin. It never crossed my mind to keep it when I bought a Viking in 1989 or early 1990. To think what that money could have bought if I had known anything about custom cues, but I digress. When I bought my first custom wrapless cue, I probably...

Here's a classic Szam style 4-pointer made in 1999 by Jerry Rauenzahn. It's a bruiser (i.e., black and blue). Cue butt is in near new condition and comes with one shaft. Shaft has a full layered tip and plays well despite a small wobble in the taper area. Pics tell the story. Will add specs...

  15. KCRack'em

    Which cuemaker ?

Tough question to answer, but I'm inclined to say Rauenzahn, Barnhart, and Sly. In the past (10-plus years ago) when I bought my first customs, I'd have said Capone, but I had very little experience to draw from. I'd almost suggest asking which makers are in which tiers and then which cuemaker...

    FS: Carmeli and Prather

Would trade either for a 1911 of equal value...or the pair for a pair of 1911s.
