Video camera suggestions please to record play/poss streaming

Brian All of the consumer grade camcorders have nearly the same capabilities and I think any of them would do what you want to do. I have 2 cameras. A high end Sony hdr-sr1 hard drive which was originaly a $1700.00 camera but was a discontinued model on sale and I got it for about $800.00...

Video camera suggestions please to record play/poss streaming

Just what do you mean by "streaming capabilities"? Wall mounts will need to be purchased separately. Make sure you get one that matches the mounting pad on the camera. It isn't easy. The vendors don't seem to care much about good product description. I'm sure someone on this forum can lead...

Rich Man Poor Man getting to the top

Too be played under conditions conducive of a high level of play requires surroundings not to be had in the average pool room. I am not blaming the owners. They have to make a living and that means catering to the booboisie. Sorry if I mis-spelled that H.L. Do golf courses pipe loud "music"...

The Wright brothers were the first to fly a heavier than air, man carrying aircraft, or were they? Historical revisionism will never cease. It's too much fun. Orville

Best sounds for straight pool tournament?

People who need to listen to "music" while playing pool are not serious about pool and don't really like music. Beethoven

Video of me shooting. Clearly using CTE....

Opposite handed eye dominance is fairly common. I know a small handful of pretty good pool players who are such. Dave Nelson

Video of me shooting. Clearly using CTE....

Nice shooting but CTE is not apparent to me. I see that you are left handed and I would guess that you are right eye dominant. Is that correct? Dave Nelson

If you don't get busy with some chipping hammers and zinc chromate pretty quick that rust bucket is going to sink in situ. The Old Salt

    List of Living 200+ Runners

Spelling correction: George Pawalski vs Pawelski. There is also a Pawelski, same pronunciation, different spelling, whom I have not met, who is a very good player but whose high run I do not know. Dave Nelson

How can we as players really tell if an Aiming System is a Gimmick or not!!!!!

If it's called an "aiming system" it's a gimmick. Dave Nelson When I was a kid, rotation was 5 cents a rack, we had never heard of snooker and couldn't afford Orange Crush.

    List of Living 200+ Runners

George Pawelski of Racine has run over 200 7 times with a high of 269. I don't know about documentation but George told me this personally in answer to my question and I see no reason to doubt his word. Dave Nelson

    Another New Aiming System...

Tramp You mean another old aiming system. Dave Nelson When I was a kid rotation was a nickle a rack, we had never heard of snooker and couldn't afford Orange Crush.

Like Fast Eddie, I'm a Loser

I call it "hitting the wall" and it happens to me all the time. I can't number the times that I have had as much as a 40 point lead over my arch-enemy, Half-fast Larry in our usual match to 110 when I hit that wall. I concentrate, I want to win. I study each shot, I try to play iron clad...
