Heyball may be included in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics

I am not sure about specifically 8-ball being played on the tables, but I have found, and previously posted somewhere on this forum, pictures dating to the 80s of Chinese pool tables.

Heyball may be included in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics

It was created to try and bring all the cuesports together. Originally had a ruleset close to English 8ball, American ball sizes, and snooker pockets and cloth. That's my understanding of the game, or why they push for it to be 'the game' to represent cue sports.

Seen this before. In fact, I had a funny experience with Dennis relating to this video 😂 Just want to watch the most recent one. Thanks for sharing :D

    Jitters or nerves

Played against Xue Zheng Qi in a tournament. He throttled me 9-2. One of the best Chinese 9ball players. After the game, I told him that I was stoked to share a table with him, and that just seeing his name was enough to make me nervous. I asked him about how he stays so relaxed. He told me "I...

    Jitters or nerves

The more I look for the positives or places I did well. The easier it is to learn from the mistakes I made. I used to be a very negative mindset, but what's the point in playing if you don't appreciate the effort you made to show up, or the times you played well? I was having this same...

    Fallen in love…

I meant that the supporting legs (well, it's more of a leg or 'stand') look stupid, not that they're not necessary 😂 It's on a 'V' pedestal type thing. Looks not so nice. But the finish on the rails is super nice. I think I just picked up saying it as that's what they say here. There's a few...

Tier list of every shaft i've ever owned (with quick write-up of each)

Cuelees (LiSi) is great product. Used to be great value too, though the price has increased a lot as they've made efforts to become more internationally recognized.

I suggested the same, these are harder than Chinese tables in my opinion, because you cannot force balls down the rail into the jaw the same way. they just hang.

Low - 1 on the spot High - 9 on the spot I assumed this was the usual way to refer to this. It certainly is where I am situated.

    Fallen in love…

Tight and reasonably deep. I hated them for the first hour or so, but once we found the right game and started playing low point, we had a lot of fun. We played 3-point rule, and went for the wing ball and shape on the one... I kept also making the one in the side during the first set, leaving...

    Fallen in love…

With low point 9ball on the new table at a friends hall. He installed a Rasson Victory with sub-4” pockets. We played a few racks of high point with MR break box, but the spreads made the games HARD. Even 8ball is hard on this thing (easily harder than a Chinese table). We switched to low point...

Foul I’d not seen in the wild before

9ball… two years deep into pool, and I still use the wrong ‘dialect’ 😂 banks are doubles, combos are plants, skids/bad contact are kicks bala bala bala

Foul I’d not seen in the wild before

I have to agree. Was quite entertaining to watch their game after. Both are very competent players. “Kicked” them up a gear. Subtle, hard to argue. I read a story somewhere about Efren picking his nose and wiping it on rails. But that may have been general sharking, not lining up a kick. 😂 love it

Foul I’d not seen in the wild before

Table next to me in the tourney had an interesting situation today. The player holding cue in hand, lined up a kick with tip to cushion, while pulling cue back his tip marked the cloth, he played the kick, and his opponent mentioned it to him. A few shots later, another situation needing a...
