Who would you say is the most entertaining action players?

The drunk Scott Frost is pretty damn entertaining.

When do you pull up on a nut bet.

Play him again. If you lose, ask for weight. If he doesn't want to give up the weight, ask to play 9ball. If he doesn't want to do that, quit and find new action. Sounds like he's got plenty of action and you have none. Branch out and gamble some.

What do people really want from a pool room?

Huh? Good players who gamble? But you don't gamble... Top things I look for in a room. 1. Lots of action. 2. Decent tables. 3. Lots of action. 4. Beer. 5. Lots of action.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

You didn't quit winner. You had time for one set. He knew that.

How many cues have you smashed? Discussion inside!

Haha...I saw a guy do this, but the wall was actually a very large man. I've broken two cues. The first was out of anger (McDermott POS). The second was on a break shot (my beloved Jack Michaely shaft): splinters of shaft everywhere.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

No you can't. Because there is no situation which makes quitting winner look good. Play cards at the ATF office? What does that have to do with anything?

URGENT: Congress Wants To Make Streaming A Felony

How can someone own music? I remember watching Efren and Scott play for several hours....I wonder who owns that memory

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

Who's crying? Let me ask you something. If you go sit at a cash game, win one big hand, and cash out, what do you think the other players are going to do? Better question: would you pull this move in a seedy card room?

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

If you win the first 5 then I win the next 10, why on earth would I want to quit?. In fact, you should probably be kicking yourself for not quitting at even. You should also contemplate quitting before you lose more.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

You're saying that you go off if you lose the first couple sets? When we play, I'll be sure to win the first 2 sets since you can't come back from that.

What I would like to see

Why stop there? Bill Gates doesn't think twice about losing a million dollars. Why can't Gates sponsor a pool tournament? Pool players might get peanuts...but at least they get peanuts. You should see the tiddlywinks players. Those guys in the top 1% talent would be lucky to get even one peanut.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

Ok...then I will publicly say it. When you gamble with me, we will play indefinitely or until the loser quits or the quitter must give sufficient notice before quitting. Sound good? Oh and btw: if you never lose, then you are either god, or a lock artist. Quitting winner only pertains to...

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

That's a good point that I forgot about: mostly because this situation never happens to me. I have a lot of patience, especially when I'm getting paid. Usually, you'll get kicked out of the room before bothering me. But I can see how excessive jackassery can cause you to quit winner.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

This is really not complicated. You and I play $20/game. You win two games and then you remember that you have to go to work. You quit. You are a nit. You and I play $20/game. We go back and forth for several hours. You say, "I must leave in an hour." I say, "Okay." This is perfectly...

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

He's not terrible. And I'm not stealing. He's buying his way out of action. Happens all the time. Luckily, the people I play already know these things. I don't mess around with bad action.

When is it ok to "quit winner"?

Quit me winner and you probably won't get paid for that last set. If you have to leave at 11pm...I'll understand, but you better tell me at 9pm. These threads are retarded though. The guys that quit ahead are the same guys that don't gamble.
