My first real cue was a McDermott D-3 (I believe). I purchased it new at a flea market back in the late 80's.

I appreciate it, but I'm not wanting to spend that much right now. I'm not sure if I ever want to do anything besides shaft cleaning and tips.

I can't disagree with this.

I would never wear one unless I was a professional. Just like I won't wear a yellow jersey and bike shorts when I ride my bicycle.

And that's all that matters! We all have our own tastes. Everyone should own what they like and not worry about other's opinions. I just thought it would be interesting to see what other people's tastes were like. We are all right about them!
