Check the weight bolt first. It may just be loose. The other possibility is the a joint. It is the spot between the forearm and the handle of the cue if that is the case than you will have to have some one qualified to repair it. Good luck!

I have been doing some more research and I still have a vague understanding of lathe threading but what if I were to change the lead screw. Would changing to 20 tpi help me achieve the 10 thread per inch goal with out loosing many if the other thread options?
