    Cue i.d. Help Please.

I know, I was just showing old Taiwanese made point work near the handle. Some gaps are tighter than others. His cue has the cheesy bumper and the joint collar looks to be made from poor quality plastic. I actually just found a Competition brand cue at a thrift store a few days ago that has...

    Cue i.d. Help Please.

what did it look like under the bumper? I’m going with 80’s Taiwanese. The quality looks similar to old Orchid, Steve Mizerak, Cobra, etc…. Probably Kao-Kao. Paging ChopDoc!!

    Abe Rich Cue

Here is my Saul Rich cue. It plays every bit as good as the old Scruggs I had. Shorter 70’s style points.

    Pawn Shop Cues

I’ve bought a fair amount of cues at pawnshops, but I think the better ones are: Tim Scruggs Mike Bender Two Titlist Palmers A few Schons Centennial Case Fellini Case

    Multiple Shafts

Only two of these shafts have matching tapers, and they do not play similar. Each shaft plays differently. After having bought and sold numerous cues over the years, I now prefer to have a different shaft than a different cue. •Solid maple with a Z^2 taper •Older shaft with great wood and...

Is this a TAD Harvey Martin?

I spoke with Fred and he told me that Tad used 3/8x12 on the Martin homage cues.

    Titlist ID needed

It may be an early Viking, or a National/Gandy. It appears to have an aluminum insert which would make me think Gandy/National more than Viking. It may just be me, but something about the veneers seems odd. just over 1/2 down there is an Ebony titlist by Gandy/ Rocco Cervantes...

    The need for joint protectors?

I once got out of my car and didn’t realize that my case was open. My cue with an ivory joint hit the ground on the joint protector. I now put cues in pin down, though I still use joint protectors.

    Schon FS

It is an R-15, and Runde was still there , but it is obviously not a sharp pointed R-15. It does have the upgraded stitch rings, as nickel rings were standard during that time. Link to the Palmer Collectors Schon Catalog page http://www.palmercollector.com/Schon/SchonRandSPad1990.html

    Older Vikings

My first cue was a Viking I got for my 14th birthday. Foolishly I sold it a number of years ago. I found this one maybe two years ago. A450 if I recall. I have a matching second shaft, but I’m not sure which case it is in.

    Help ID Dufferin Conversion

I have the same cue though with black collars. I bought mine from a fellow who recalled buying it in Florida at a pool called the Golden Horseshoe or something along those lines in 1994, give or take a year or two. He also purchased a Pete Ohman sneaky at the same time. I spoke with Dennis...

Can't play because of back pain (hernia) - any tips?

CBD oil is good, but not strong enough. You need to eat pot brownies or something along those lines. Inversion table. Invert Align3 futon. The floor ones, shikibuton, but I have a full size futon that needs a frame. I know you are not in the states, but I have the ultra wool firm from these...
