Night To Be Gone Pool Film Review (NO SPOILERS)

That was the first link I pulled up then found the one I posted. My German is limited to the German my father brought home from WWII that he learned from German prisoners of war which was ”William ist ein großer Arsch”.

I copied and pasted the review. I don’t take credit for the content. I’m not a film critic.

Night To Be Gone Pool Film Review (NO SPOILERS)

Here’s a review. No spoiler. I’ve spent a lot of time in Berlin and look forward to the movie and scenes from the city. On a dark autumn evening, a car pulls out of a rest stop northwest of Berlin onto the A 111 heading towards the city. Not long after, Omer (Alpha Omer Cissé), a young West...

    Cloth color

Tournament blue unless your playing in a brothel or in the Castro then you can use those other ‘dandy’ colors like red, tan or yellow to match your handbag and shoes.

Another one of those posts that make you cringe but here goes: idea for game variation

I watched it until the finish. Several routine shots missed by both players. Django won the race to 20.

So you’re calling one ball ahead. Not a bad idea. Straight pool players think this way to begin with. I was taught to think two balls ahead so one ball is not out of reach. Just have to have a little more detail for scratches (ball in hand or in “Texas”?).

    Best break cue

House cue. I just pick one off the wall. Never use the same one twice. Works for me.

My favorite house cue in the early 60’s had an almost flat tip. I’ve tried to recreate it. It takes a lot of work.

Mass Shooting At Maine Pool Hall & Bowling Alley

As a deist I believe it up to mankind to solve our problems. You can read all you want while “Rome is burning”. Get out your Bible and your fiddle.

Mass Shooting At Maine Pool Hall & Bowling Alley

It not un-arming or disarming, it’s the illusion and fear mongering that we’re going to lose our right to bear arms. The same fear mongering that gays and pedophiles are one and the same and on and on. Taking advantage of the ignorant and unwashed who interpret the Constitution and the Bible...

Film oddities or coincidences in The Hustler

As a cyclist I thought Breaking Away was great. Raging Bull was also a great film but I can’t say those two eclipse The Hustler. I think all three are on equal footing for their distinct story lines.

pool chalk on a retractable string?

My favorite chalk holder is my right front pocket. There are even times I hold it in my bridge hand when shooting. the rest of those gimmicks are strictly that.

    RIP Piper

Women are alcoholics? Drug users? Tevis didn’t write the script for Janis Joplin. I could name many others. Sarah wasn’t a Disney character and I never expect to Snow White and Sleeping Beauty sitting in a booth with a bottle of J.T.S. Brown.
