WPBL Brings up Allegations of Fraud

It's a shame that this happened but, in the long run, it may be a valuable learning experience for the players involved with the WPBL. They are finding out that being a promoter has many pit falls and they may be a little more understanding with promoters in the future.

Shane Van Boening: What about him....

Shane is sponsored by Cuetec. I doubt if his cue is either off the shelf or from a fan.

Why buy a cue that is over $300?

Everyone has needs and wants. You buy a Kia car because you need it to get to work in the morning. You could probably take a bus but that is another story. You buy a BMW because you want it, period. When it comes to cues, you don't even need a $150 cue. You can use a house cue. You may say...

    Tim Scruggs

Tim is definitely not working on cues any longer. He is retired and he has sold all of his equipment. As stated above, Proficient Billiards is an outstanding cue repair guy. You can also contact AZB member ratcues (Ryan Theewen). He does repairs at Muller's and his work is second to none.

Now that Bobby has a camera set up, I'm sure it is just a matter of time before we get to see a really big run. Way to go Bobby!

Do you stay the whole league night if you're done playing ??

Whether I stay or not depends on if or when I play during the night and what I have going on the next morning.

    Pool television channel?

IF a pool channel was even a remote possiblity in this country, Accu-Stats, with its vast collection of matches, would have to be a major partner.

    U.S. Open Checks Bounced???

There is no doubt that Barry has a long list of faults and I definitely wouldn't run the Open the same way he does. There are some very serious problems, not the least of which is paying the players on time. However, it is a great event and, although late, he always pays. He has been paying for...

2012 Mosconi Cup U.S. Team members....

So you want to replace solid players for one that will probably go "on tilt"??? That is just stupid. Deuel may be a good pick, as long as there isn't a golf course near by. Hatch and Shuff are solid players and will represent our country well. Go U.S.A!!!

Unfortunately, I won't even be able to watch the stream this time. We will be driving up from Virginia Beach tomorrow and trying to beat a hurricane.

    JPNEWT Ladies 9Ball October 27-28

One of these years, we have to make a road trip to this tournament. We grew up less than a 30 minute drive away from Cosmos and I would love to see that room.
