Thanks, Storminorman. You are correct. I've owned the case 20 years. Bought it new. I don't know this for certain but I have owned other newer Whittens and to me the leather is noticeably thicker on this case. Primarily a storage case over the years but has seen some action.

Not sure I'm ready to let it go. Just bought it 3 months ago. It was purchased by a friend of mine at the 1992 Trade Show and probably didn't have 10 hours playing time when I bought it. I spoke to Tony about the cue and he told me he only made 4 of the RS1's with the silver inlays...

Someone needs an original BB shaft!!! Tony's shafts are $450+. This shaft is in like new condition, hardly ever been used, and was purchased 19 years ago. Great quality shaft wood.
