The ferrules I recieved look like the ones MARCUS is stating are asbestos based. Personaly I don't care as I am sure they will play great and like any other material depending on which batch you recieve the make up will be slightly different. I applaud Percy for making these availiable at a fair...

I recieved mine about a week ago and in comparison to the ferrules on my old southwest made in 87' the material looks the same and I am very happy with it and hope to get more. Thanks Percy

Up for sale is a nice Ned Morris full splice sneaky the cue is 19oz comes with one 12.8mm shaft with ivor-x ferrule and wizard med tip cue is dead straight hits very solid there are some nicks and dings butt nothing that effects play priced to sell at $225 shipped

The cue weighs 19.5oz the shafts i will have to weigh but they are fairly dense i would estimate between 3.5 and 4.0oz both shafts have aegis ferrules the points are solid there is about 1/8 variance in the points two are very even the other two a little difference the cue is 59 1/2 inches
