How to ship a cue with ivory

Jay, if the legislature would stay out of the postage rate business and let it be properly regulated the USPS could run on it's own income. But the politicians sell out to the lobbyists from the publishing companies and junk mail and advertising companies and give them a rate that loses money...

How to ship a cue with ivory

A non-political point in this discussion is that one of the few things the federal government is assigned to do by the constitution is to provide post offices and post roads. See this line in sec. 8 'To establish Post Offices and post Roads'.

    New 9' Diamond For Home...

If I were in your position I would talk to Mark Gregory about one of these. This is the best looking table ever built and after he restores and updates it it plays like a new diamond. There is no better route.

Why do cue tips glaze ?

The glaze is generally caused by a build up of oils on the tip. Some of this is natural from oils in the leather coming to the surface during play. A way to minimize this problem is to never touch the playing surface yourself as you skin has oils that will cause the same problem

How does the fencing law work?

Just curious but have you contacted the postal inspector's office? They are the federal police agency for all things related to the post office and generally take a dim view of postal fraud and have the teeth to do something.

    Question about high level cuemakers

Billy Incardona is Hall of Fame worthy

I've been around the tournaments and poolrooms for over 35 years and have known Billy since 1984 and he has always been as honorable and as nice a person as I have met in pool. One more thing, he's the only real pool player I've ever known who would pick up the check at a restaurant most all of...

    Making leather tips

Pretty much all cowhide leather has been split to get the weight the manufacturer wants for the type of finished leather product to be made. Most of it will be cut down to 10 ounce or less which is 5/32" thick. This is good for belts and saddles and other items which may be tooled. I have...
