    Molinari @ Turning Stone

Their what? Their gloves are great and cost about $12. The cues are Predator P3s. I wouldn't pay any extra for them.

★ Remove the HOP from your shaft, manually. ★

I would like to have one of the pocket lathe gizmos. Not to shave joints with but just to have on my desk to inspect my cues. I did not see a reference to them on that facebook page.

    Problem with uniloc joint

Well, they are all manufactured under the same patent, to the same specifications and many if not all the parts come from the same source making them all susceptible to the problem. The ones you have had are British making them clearly superior and even at that, you have seen the problem...

    Problem with uniloc joint

Uni-locs all come loose. Everyone I ever owned did this. I don't want any more of them. The center screw is too thick and the threads are too coarse. It doesn't have any stretch so it can't stay tight.

    Buddy Hall "Tuck & Roll"

OK. As Buddy explains in one of his later videos, and explained to me which I also have on video somewhere, tuck and roll is not something you conscientiously do on purpose. He also says that is something he should have explained in the Clock video. "If you are applying english correctly...

    Straight pool rule question

This is an interpretation of the rules so take this with a grain of salt. When the status of the cue ball is ball in hand and player A takes in intentional foul behind the headstring, the ball in hand status of the cue ball remains unchanged. The cue ball must cross the headstring to be in...

    playing pocket speed

The guy I learned from taught me to do it both ways at will. I could clip the rail and jar it in the pocket or clip the rail and have it go in. This was back when I wanted to be a hustler. I did not have a taste for it. I felt like I was cheating. Guys playing me would figure I was just...

    playing pocket speed

Some interesting posts about this. Some differing definitions on what pocket speed is. First there is the speed that is the exact speed at which a ball rolls cleanly into the pocket with just enough energy to make it over the shelf and fall into the hole. This speed should be learned as a...
