Getting down perfectly straight on the ball?

With all due respect. You may be a very fine instructor with papers to prove it, as well as a world beater skill wise, I don't know; and what you say may or may not be true. But as soon as you say; It is a sure sign (for me) that whatever follows is probably BS, sorry if that's harsh but it...

Serious question Is Pool Sport or game??

Pool fits either, it depends on how you view a "sport" or a "game"

Making your opponents shoot every shot or concede out of respect?

Actually I am not that bright, but thanks anyway. I beg to differ; I think most people think they are smarter than most people, I am pretty sure about this, even though I haven't done a poll. Really. Maybe I am convicted to hold a higher standard than most; if you would do the same both...

    Defensive strategies/safeties books

From my experience when a player reaches a level of play and says to themselves "you know I don't think I am seeing the safeties" most of the time it isn't about "knowing the safes" or "knowing the shots"; most of these players have the knowledge already but just don't use what they actually...

Making your opponents shoot every shot or concede out of respect?

I love succinct statements like this so I will have a go at it; here is my add on to this sentence: And those people that are conceding the game with the intention of not doing so later to "throw their opponent off", piss their opponent off or try make them miss a shot they would otherwise make...

Making your opponents shoot every shot or concede out of respect?

Really is that the best you can answer post #450? Really? My goodness how childish are you? Resorting to digs not relevant to the discussion? Really?

Making your opponents shoot every shot or concede out of respect?

No such thing as way too serious. Ok I won't but: You don't consider this a shark? If not what is your definition of a shark? You are trying to distract and throw your opponent off their game while it is not your inning; WTF else does a shark mean? And there can be many reasons for a...

Making your opponents shoot every shot or concede out of respect?

I don't think anything positive can come out of this; this kind of thinking is usually by people who think they are smarter than everyone else and no one can figure out what they are doing because they are so clever. Well I have some bad news for you Hungarian; you're not smarter than everybody...

    Banks Rules

It doesn't matter if you use 9 or 15 balls, if you use 9 the 1st player to sink 5 wins if 15 1st player to 8 wins. It is a call ball & pocket game with 1 exception; only 1 ball clean banks count. So you can't "combo bank", play off another ball, carom bank or the like you must contact 1 ball 1st...

What is the best jump break tip?

j/b tips are like most pool equipment; whatever "feels good" is the right one. I have a white diamond on my j/b and it works great, had a samsara before that also worked great. In fact I can't remember a hard tip that didn't work great.

I'm in love with extreme stroke shots

No that is not a "given" IMHO 3CB is the most difficult to master, as a great player once said to me "pool is elementary school, snooker is high school and billiards is college" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhyCFH7tqSo I think (not absolutely sure) that this guy holds the world record (or is...

    How to safety? Step 1

A flick shot came up last night for me; I noticed when I do this my stance is quite a bit more errect than my normal shooting stance, in fact it's a lot like my breaking stance. Maybe you want to give that a try.

I'm in love with extreme stroke shots

Who doesn't? Those who approch them with fear will surely fail, those who are excited by them will always be the stronger players. You have them covered for the most part I think; nice video!
