    Why no location shown??

I am curious why so many posters are so reticent about showing their location. I can understand it if this was a firearms forum but we are all pool players and I do not think someone is about to steal our tables. Yes, I understand cues are transportable but you can always put the valuable ones...

    Olhausen snooker table

Yes, Brunswick is good but they stopped making snooker rails in 1998 and that would be for 10 ft Gold Crown's If you want a Brunswick 12 footer you will have to find a Canadian product as I believe they stopped making 12 footers in the early 1900's for the US market

    Snooker table on Pergo

I have a 10 ft Brunswick Centennial sitting on cheap Lumber Liquidators laminate flooring on the second floor with no problems. I have a very thick sub floor sitting on 16" centers and an I beam in the middle of the 24' floor spanning 23'. I put the underlayment down and floated the floor. I...

Advice on cleaning rail castings on a Gold Crown

I used 'The World's Easiest Metal Polish' by Satin Gloss to polish the anodized skirts on my Brunswick Centennial. It is a little pricey at $19.95 for a 12 oz bottle but it sure works:) Here is a link to the product: http://www.satingloss.com/

Need help with game room, 7 or 8ft table...

I agree with Scruffy - bigger is better. I would take the 'Tournament 8' and play with an 'obstruction cue' when I had to. I bought a 10' snooker table when my room can take a 12 footer and wish I hadn't. Size matters:grin:

Can any one identify/guess the manufacturer of this table

I came across this in an internet ad and I believe it to be a scam-something that is too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true so do not waste any time trying to identify.

    picture of the snooker tabl

Your spelling is fine - you probably text too much:grin: I think someone posted a link here to an ebay vendor for a 2 1/8" rack for sale but if I recall it was a little 'spendy' for me 'cause I am tight with a buck

    The O.T.L.B Slate Dolly

I really like reading RKC's posts and I enjoy OTLB's posts - I learn something each time even though it underlines that I really don't know Jack s$*#. Glen and John for the benefit of all here I wish you could 'Bury the Hatchet' ( and not in each other:D). Perhaps you could adopt the...

    picture of the snooker tabl

Hey - way cool I like the counters in the rail:thumbup: What size balls are you going to play? Brunswick literature says they were shipped w/ 2 1/8" balls - hard to find a rack for.

Can any one identify/guess the manufacturer of this table

Can any one guess or identify the manufacturer of this table? It is a 6 x 12 and the playing surface is 68" x 136". It kind of looks like a Gold Crown but the little logo on the end (that I cannot discern) makes me think it is a GC 'knock off'

Why not separate "Wanted/For sale" section

if you can get that done then how about making price divisions: <200 or >300 >500 etc

Bought a Gold Crown II. Where do I go from here?

My bad - I guess I have snooker on the brain. Thanks RKC for keeping me straight! There are a couple of more functional GC's on the Houston Craigs List but if it was gotten for a real good price you can afford to sink a lot of $ in it.
