    How would Chevilotte quality compare?

I am guessing Chevilotte is not Riley or BCE class but I was wondering if it would be a good choice over an Olhausen 6 x 12. Her is a picture of the 6 x 12 Chevilotte: http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0d734b3127ccefb4b3714c27f00000030O00AaNXDFo0cuGIPbz4C/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

    Billiard table wax

I just bought a Brunswick Centennial 10 ft snooker table that was put together with bondo in Deland FL. It never moved (was on a carpeted concrete floor) and was installed 28 years ago. However to take this table apart it was an *@b! I think the alternatives are better (wax) and if you use the...

    Need a Brunswick table IDed

I just purchased a 10' Brunswick Centennial Snooker Table in Deland. Mike House in Kissimmee (listed here in the Table Mechanic's Directory) took it apart and loaded it for me for the 11 hour drive back to North Carolina. Mike is concientious and really knows his stuff:thumbup:

Thanks Phil:thumbup: I ordered the Club grade and my choices were blue and yellow-green. Here in Raleigh there is not a lot of snooker cloth sold (I think) I chose the 'yellow green' and I hope it resembles the colors I have seen for the other Strachn offerings.:D Ithink the Strachn...

    Cloth for a 10' Centennial

I will be recovering my 10' Brunswick Centennial snooker table in the near future (when I can afford to polish all that aluminiun to a #2 finish:grin-square:) and I am wondering what cloth I should choose. The table will be used for snooker as well as 8 and 9 ball and played on by adults as...

Non numbered Aramith Snooker Balls 2 1/8 -Available?

Are 2 1/8" Aramith snooker balls available without #'s 2 thru 7? Would 2 1/16" balls play ok on a Brunswick Centenial 10' snooker table or would the pocket openings (no work done on table) be too large (too easy)? Thanks in advance for any advice given. Also asked in the Snooker Forum

    Best Choice: Centennial or Anniversary?

Thanks RKC that would be a logical choice (especially if it was you last repaired:grin:) but I am faced with a choice where the owner does not know the quality of set up just it plays ok and I need the space for something else. I read the Brunswick history and they talk about figure 8 nut...

    Best Choice: Centennial or Anniversary?

If the condition and price are equal which of these tables would be the best purchase? Is beauty in the eye of the beholder or are there structural differences that would make one of these two superior to the other? I also asked this en the general forum. Thanks

    Purchasing a new home table

I just went thru this. I started out loking for a 5 x 10 snooker table and only found an expensive antique or an over priced new Olhausen so I swithed gears and decided on 4 1/2 x 9. table. My room is 17 x 23 so size was not a problem. There are lots of used tables out there and I limited my...
