D0N,
You are not ruffling feathers here. One thing I recommend is have whoever works on the table take the multiple recovers of staples out and the original tacks out. That is just plain lazy.
Stay Clear
It is an older Chinese import. I installed a ton of them for people like DLT, and numerous other table importers back 12 to 15 years ago. They were very difficult to assemble because most pieces were missing holes or inserts. My recommendation is to stay clear from this table...
As a business man myself I assure you Mark is legit. He is a perfectionist who delivers high quality products. His comment was tongue in cheek. If don't want rails from him or a high end Brunswick that is your prerogative. You are missing out in my opinion.
Oh Glenn.....Do you need your props today. You are a God among mortals. No one can be your equal or better. It was a great interview. Now let it be your holiness.
I would take it apart and glue the seams. If you are using the blue wax sticks it would be harder to roll out flat. Regular bee's wax is softer and would roll out flat. I recommend doing it the right way.

You are correct....Still too many non-mechanics chiming in like they know everything. BMA is a group of mechanics with no ego's sharing ideas. I look forward to your detailed report on other slate dollies. I will compare them with what I looked at.
Had a pair. Very awkward to work with. One of the other benefits of the OTLVise is membership in the Billiards Mechanics of America. Great forum and facebook page. Guys sharing info from all over the country. Funny thing is there is no bickering.
