    Original G B

Good looking cue A lot of speculation on real or not...Buska cues have always scared me after hearing the nightmare stories of people being duped. That forearm looks very clean with little if any patina showing in the picture. Do you have any more history on the cue?

    Szamboti -----

Very Nice The veneer combo with with the abalone inlays goes so well. Those are some special cues right there.

Ginacue popped over ivory, hopefully much or all fake.

Pure BS How can they prove that Ernie is using illegal ivory. He has been making cues for a good amount of time and has had stock forever. If he can prove that the ivory was legal, what charges can they come with? This does make everyone (cuemaker and collectors) rethink high-end cues with...

    John Morra

Just going to ask Let me start off by saying I respect John Morra's game. I like his demeanor when he is playing and his no give up attitude even when he is behind in a set. I would enjoy seeing him play Skylar Woodward or Justin Bergman. Not sure if they ever matched up in a long set. If...

    The "Skinny"

Thanks Billy - well put By saying Efren is the best to play the game, should not take away from Scott Frost and his performance in this match up. Scott played well and the outcome proves that he is indeed on the short list of top players in one-pocket today. As far as Efren goes, there is not...

Joss- 1968-1979- Post your Pictures Please!!!

Now that is a sweet Joss Not sure if it is the golden hue in the forearm, the all white decorative butt section, the minimalist box inlays or the classic ring work but I really am happy you shared this one. I'm not a fan of box cues but I do like this one a lot.

    Just Ordered a New Cue!

beautiful deisgn Are the points sharp or inlaid (meaning the outer veneer). The newer cues by Joss tend to have that rounded point, but if you are able to request sharp points you should. I think that would bring this cue one notch above the ones that might be like it. SS

Great looking cue Great looking cue Pete! Glad to hear you are doing better. Hopefully your health is on the up and up. Ebony and blue veneers is a killer combo. Dean we finally got a picture of one of your cues! I feel the world tilting off its axis :D Enjoy and glad to see this issue...

    " The Freezer's " new EPIC poolroom!!!!!

Good for him Hopefully, the room will be a success. God knows with all the rooms that have been closing down it is great to see a new room open (even if it on the other side of the country).

Frost pissed off the Lion, discussing pool etiquette

Don't knock Frost It saddens me that so many are knocking Frost or any other player for that matter. How many actually personally know Frost outside of the watching him play the game or at the pool room? I don't care what was said while they were playing. I heard enough barking watching...

    Manzino

All Manzino Bob was sending me pictures after he completed the forearm. He picked the veneer combo and made the cue. No section of the cue was sourced from another maker but I think you knew that. Just being a "Nick" I guess.

Alton Takata has created an amazing Cue Cap for my wrapless Black Boar

an artist Alton is an artist and very tuned into making sure his caps work with the theme of the cue. This only proves his ingenuity has grown with the works of the big cuemakers. Keep up the great work Alton. Sanjay

    Manzino

Nfs Thanks for all the positive comments on the cue. Someone asked me how much and if it was for sale. Many do know that I have a few Rosewood/Rosewood cues and they are not for sale. As for what I paid, out of respect to Bob I ask that you reach out to him for your own pricing. Material...

    Manzino

It was a pleasure dealing with Bob. I asked him to make me a player with Brazilian Rosewood and he delivered. By far not his fanciest cue, but it still speaks volumes of his attention to detail and execution. A great twist on a hoppe cue.

In history... To collect, flip, play with?

To collect - Gus Szamboti To Flip - South West To play - My Rosewood/Rosewood Barry. I don't think there is a wrong answer here. So many great makers, but I will be partial to the man in PA that continues to answer the phone when I call and welcomes me into his shop to change a tip and clean...

    >>>> EDC <<<<Jules Patterson

Nice pair Not surprised you took these home Greg. After speaking with Jules for sometime it appears he will have a very promising career as a cuemaker. The gun sights inlayed cue was really special. Think that sold pretty fast. Doesn't hurt that Randy Mobley is providing some guidance.

    Bob Manzino "Gatsby"

New Favorite This could be one of the best threads of how a cue came to be. Thanks for sharing. I am usually not a fan of heavily inlayed cues but this just flows so well. Also started thinking about all the "tribute" cues you see today. Very few can take an inspiration and make it their...
