    just moved to tokyo

I live on the Kanto Plain! I'm in Utsunomiya all week, but return to Kichijoji on the weekends. Pm me if you want to get together n play. I gotta bring my cue down if we're gonna play. I'm sure there are others. I hear there are great rooms in Tokyo, but I only know the Bagus chain. Also, now...

    Van Boening

They probably told him that is a key benefit of their product. He is probably thinking it has improved his aim quite a bit(related to aiming more money into his wallet.). I think in general, all pros are not struggling with aiming much. So, I think we can say that he wouldn't be helped if a...

Great One on It's Way from JB Cases

It would be a good addition. I wonder if it would be still strong after a year or so. Maybe with some of the regular work I see being posted up, always pushing the envelope!!

    Jump Cues

Are they really different?. . . Yea, I would say they are. For a break cue, I think there are a couple of things which would be helpful. A hard tip for good energy transfer and to retard(reduce) the english put on the CB by an off center hit. A more conical shaft for weight, > 4.0 oz. ...

    CB or OB last

Lots of good info here. This is another one where it seems like people have to be different. One observatio: for the OB last crowd, I think that might make your stroke delivery more accurate because the OB point you are delivering the tip to is farther away.

    CB or OB last

I want to throw this out here so it quits disrupting the "Fundamentals" thread and gets some air time. No reason to quabble back and forth about which is better. Let's just discuss what we look at last and how we think this works for us. Of course we should question others, so both of us...

What If Fundamentals Aren't That Important After All?

A wise instructor taught me to look at the cb last. When I heard some fundamentalist mentio OB last was best, my position went haywire, so I went back to CB last. When in stroke, I can make som crazy hard shots, so I think I'll be ok, checking that fundamental at the door. It used to be all the...

What If Fundamentals Aren't That Important After All?

So I think we allknow what proper fundamentals are....they are the grip, stance, elbow position, stroke, aim tech, breathing, etc shown in every pool book. This is how you teach the game as an instructor. You can teach Joe No-stroke how to run balls by preaching this. Them after years of tuning...

    Wizard tips

I have a wizard on my shaft. No mushrooming. Plays good IMO. Very low maintenance. BTW, im a total tip nerd. I check it for mushrooming, radius and chalk holding every session. About once every 5 sessions, i do something other than pick or tap it. I could probably roughen twice on a 4 hour...
