Why would anyone do business with Bebot Bautista Cues?

Ohhhh, he seemed to be living it up in the Phillippines according to his Facebook. I have recently stopped connection there since he doesn't respond to my messages there anymore. He will probably friend you if you ask. Les Lacson. Not too many with that name! . . .and as someone mentioned...

    Help buying a beginner cue?

Frankly, the best cue in that range would be a sneaky pete. I would just look for a sneakiest pete. . .I forget who list's them on here. I would get an 18 - 19 oz, 12.5 - 13mm tip and then play the heck out of it. After you beat everybody you know, it will be time to upgrade to something you...

Why would anyone do business with Bebot Bautista Cues?

It is kind of refreshing to see someone else doesn't view this as my bad choice. . . Cause frankly, there are a lot of American cuemakers who haven't delivered also. We know the names. It is not all American or all Pinoy cuemakers. This is about one cuemaker who thought they didn't have to...

Why would anyone do business with Bebot Bautista Cues?

I lived in Asia when the cue was ordered. I had bought a great jump cue from them and had been very satisfied. I have this as a recourse because you may or may not know. . .Cues don't sell for US prices in the Phillippines. They sell for much less. So, the cuemaker's need this site, Ebay and...

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=248960 Honestly, these cues look nice and I know from my jump cue that you guys can make good cues. . . . . . .but why would I do business with you on these cues after you guys and the_general took $400 from me and never delivered the cues I...

    Coker Cues

I have seen Coker cues on here quite a bit, but I have no idea who makes them, who trained the cuemaker, inspiration, etc. Anything you know about this brand which you would like to share?

    Help buying a beginner cue?

I would avoid the Cuetec, but Fury and Player's cues have treated me well. One of the better deals in cues are the sneakiest pete cues. TNT also look good to me also. You might check the for sale section for those.

A lot of low opinions on 9 ball, me included, what about 8?

I think 9 ball is a great game which requires a different approach. If you are 99% on an open four balls, you have to learn to make a couple early and duck hard to get your opponent in a miss or safe position. If you run hard at this skill level, 9 ball is a frustrating string of losses. I like...

    Calipers

Mitsutoyo from Ebay. I have bought a couple and been happy. One had a hitch in it and I think I decided it was because it didn't affect me. The other 2 pair were fine. Paid like $35 on average.

    Stiff leather

Mink oil is good on standard leather. You will need to let it dry overnight and wipe it down good to get it dry enough after you let it soak in. It will darken the leather a bit.

    bebot bautista cue's,..

I too paid without receiving a cue. Frankly, I don't care who is selling your cues. If you allow them to be your front man, you owe the cues. I have contacted both sides and have no cue "in the mail." I do not know enough to assign blame so I would prefer not to, but if Mervin's claims are...

Had it up to here with custom cue orders!

I can agree that a cuemaker should make a cue the way he agrees to, but I'm wondering if things get confusing when customers get too involved in the construction techniques and fine details. That said, you sent the guy full CAD drawings and/or complete 3D data?? I can tell you from experience...

What do you think of Southwest Cues?

Great cues. I have only handled ones made by Jerry. His calendar cue is a personal favorite of cues I have seen in pictures. Now, I see them as over priced and in a style I don't care for at a high cost. I think other makers cues are a better value for me. Still, I think if a person wants a...
