Never Aim - Your "Mental Eye" Knows What's Expected...Trust Your Eye

“Skill in any performance whether it be in sports in playing the piano in conversation or in selling merchandise consists not in painfully and consciously thinking out each action as it is performed but in relaxing and letting the job do itself through you. Creative performance is spontaneous...

Is Touch Of Inside "the teacher"

After correcting my fundamentals and showing me the workings of TOI, CJ is now showing me some other cue ball control options. You can "spin" the cue ball all around the table with top, bottom, side, extreme side, whatever your desire, but it all starts from the basic TOI position. When I...

    Dufferin conversion

It is being used as a break cue right now, and it does a fine job at that. How much difference is the hit going to be if it is converted to a two piece?

    Dufferin conversion

I have a old Dufferin one piece that I was thinking of having converted into a two piece. You can barely read "Made in Canada" on the butt cap. Question is: Is this worth doing. Just want to make the cue more mobile, and will this effect the value, if there is any?

Is Touch Of Inside "the teacher"

I switched over to TOI back in July of 2013. I use it 100%, my game has definitely improved, my confidence has risen, and the game is once again fun. Once you are lined up with a TOI cut, you can pivot the cue back to the outside if outside English is needed.

    Flourescent or incadescent lighting

My dilemma is that I went from a traditional 8' ceiling to a vaulted ceiling. I am installing 6 or 8 led recessed can lights to light the room, but can't seem to settle on what to do to light the table's playing surface. I currently have a rectangle "beer" table light now. I was thinking of...

    Flourescent or incadescent lighting

How would a 4' t-8 fixture light up a 9' table? Do you think that would be enough light? Also, does the t-8 fixtures come in a 4 bulb, or only a 2 or 3 bulb fixture?

    Recommendation for a table vacuum

What are some of the problems that could arise with vacuuming your table? I also use a handheld dirt devil which works great, but since upgrading to Simonis cloth, I haven't vacuumed, only brush. and simonis x-1.

    Flourescent or incadescent lighting

I think that I am going to go with the LED's. Their long life and efficiency seem pretty good. My can lights in the ceiling have been converted over to LED's and they have done a pretty good job for the room as a whole. Thinking maybe 3 or 4 four inch LED's over the 9 footer should do it.

Throw data and analysis relevant to TOI

I think in CJ's TOI, the firm shot removes the friction between the cue ball and table cloth. I believe this would remove the swerve and throw??? The TOI is so negligible that there is very, very little spin involved. The TOI uses more deflection. Just my observations.
