Yes, 9 ball Doubles absolutely favors the lower handicap, I (we) played in it as a 9 in 06' and 07'...both years a team with a total of 5 handicap won it. Closest we could get was 8th....and that was tough, won two matches 31-13. Dom

Not sure what your comment means, but using a shorter cue would mean your giving up shots that may become out of your reach using a standard or longer cue, unless you use a bridge. Personally, I prefer a longer cue and/or an extention. Some people have mastered the bridge, I am not one of them.

Short + Short = ? Here is my $.02 If your short, why a short cue? You already give up shots due to your height (bridgeless shots), why give up more with a shorter cue. I am only 5'9" and prefer 60" cues......and I hate using the bridge. Dom
