I played on gc tables with counters but I dont think the counters helped or hindered my play. My Dufferin Challenger has no counters and I suspect my play is no better or worse.

After reading this thread and separating the chaff from the wheat I decided to get a big pin ivory flat face Scruggs. My 5/16 stainless joint Scruggs is a great player but the 3/8 10 ivory feels like butta. It may be imperceptible to some but not to me. It is prolly one of the plainest cues ever...
